An evening with the girls

I spent the evening visiting my favorite trio of girls...Nat, Kira & T. T introduced me to the class gerbil named Tulip and we played with Buddy Boy who is still very sweet and playful. Then I was treated to a private performance of Mary had a Little Lamb on violin by Kira. And of course there was ice skating!

Annual Cal game with Grandpa and Uncle Rick. The newly renovated Memorial Stadium is beautiful and it is good to have the California Golden Bears (and the Cal Band) back home!

Happy Birthday Kristina

Celebrated Cal's win and Kristina's birthday with good food and great friends! Kristina was my college roommate, a fellow Cal Band member and is still a dear friend. Loved catching up with Kristina and her husband Josh (also a Cal grad - go bears!)

A California Christmas

"BLING in the NEW YEAR"

As per tradition we spent New Year's Eve with some of our closest friends dancing away the night. 

Above from left to right the theme was "Bling in the New Year" and so we dressed up accordingly.   Katlynn (her family hosts the party), Carla, Me, Mandy all dressed up with our silver and gold bling.

Go Bears!

Last weekend Grandpa and I took Mandy to her first Cal Game!  Our trip included a ride on BART, a stop at Top Dog, meeting Oski, watching Cal Band preform on Sproul Steps, walking with Cal Band up to the stadium, wonderful weather (resulting in a good sunburn), a great football game, and of course plenty of Cal Band stories (thanks for humoring me Mandy)!!

A big thank you to Grandpa for taking treating us to such a wonderful time!!

leggings/tights...it it because I was a butterfly in the late 80's?
